My wife has been chatting to friends about a vacation they had a Hedonism, and now she wants us to go. Can anyone tell me what it's like, I heard it's hot, but that it can be dangerous too.
We don't swing, though we've tried a couple of swing clubs (too shy I guess and we didn't even speak to anyone). We're both open minded, but neither of us really wants to fuck around if it will cause a problem with our marriage.
What's your advice, too much temptation or no? I'm a little worried that she'll get hit on all the time, she can be quite a stunner when she wants to be.

Been there, done that! Best vacation ever! We went to Hedo II, which is more established. Not sure which one you're going to (II or III) but if you go to Hedo II be sure to book on the nude side, NOT the prude side. Even if you're not nudists, TRUST me on this one! We weren't nudists when we went, but it took all of 15 minutes to get used to it! That's all and then you dont even realize you're naked. Within a day you'll HATE wearing clothes, which you have to wear to go eat meals.
As far as adult fun... it depends largely on when you go. There are several lifestyle weeks when it can get wild. The rest of the time it's more of a sensual environment, where anything you want can be found if you look for it... or not, if you're happy just do your own thing. There is no pressure of any sort... the people that go there are probably the most laid back, open-minded, non-judgemental folks you'll ever meet.
During the day hang out at the nude pool... and at night the nude jacuzzi. Those are the centers of the social world. You'll meet all types of people. Be yourself, be cool, be friendly and it can be the best vacation you'll ever have.

Edited to add: Crime - There is very good on site security. As long as you're on the resort I wouldn't worry. My wife had no reservations walking around nude alone at night, and she's 5'10", blond, with 38DD's...!
Going off the resort just make sure to go in a group, or stick with a local guide to help make sure you don't go somewhere seedy. But do visit Ricks Cafe on the cliffs at sunset... it's well worth the trip!

Thanks, makes me feel much better about it. Wife's Latina so she's a bit of a prude when it comes to going nude, but I'm sure that if she saw it was accepted then she would be OK.
And it will be so so good to take a vacation without kids for a change... We love them all dearly but a break will be nice.

Here is my Hedo story from March '08 -

Thanks for sharing that story! Unlike you, our first Hedo trip we didn't play... just soaked up the erotic vibes. It did lead to more at a later date... but that's another story.
As far as her first encounter being less than ideal... that's not uncommon, and it need not be the end of the road. Just like vanilla dating, sometimes you get a winner, sometimes not. But don't give up just because she had one bad date.
The "guilt", and her being "just into you" is a common after-affect. Remember, women are taught from early age not to "cheat". Even with your permission, she still needs to adjust the concept of being with another guy.
