Subhub, I use paint, go to image/resize/percentage and shrink to 800 pixels. Usually 50-75% works. Of course mine are already captioned so I want to save them but if you don't or it's too much trouble,dump them. After you do it a few times, it's easy

Oh ya, when I close the pic, I save and it asks if this is what you want and of course it is and I open the next one

speedie... thanks.. but I have 3 programs that do it... Dell is good but it make a guplicate copy .. one the smaller version that you make and the original... don't use it a lot because I always have to delete one ... fills trash.... Microsoft picture it 7.. is the program I like the best for repairing any type or even spot on a pic... but mosy of the time I just use microsoft word.. it darkens ..lightens and crops and lets me click to next pic so I can do 20 or 50 at a time... the problem I have with some pics like the ones I deleted the other day... I have already cropped them down to just about the gal only with no background at all... and still to big... not sure why they are so friggn big nor what I can do about it... got one folder just about full of them... ran my curser down them yesterday and started deleting the ones over 800.. the Karups site met art and a few others all have "big" pics for some reamister
