The funny thing is that we should think of it logically. If ANYTHING about masturbation affects the penis it should be exactly the opposite. The penis is a muscle, so the more you masturbate, the more you work it out, thus the bigger it should get.

Chocker, the penis isn't actually a muscle, but a system of spongy tissues that fill with red during sexual excitement, causing an erection (like a balloon). No musculature to develop.

I think there is some validity to the thesis that EXCESSIVE masturbation may shrink the penis........I have been masturbating prone for sometimes as much as 8 - 10 hours and I sometimes have masturbated non-stop for two days........of course.....I can't keep an erection so my tiny, teeny penis goes soft and sometimes recedes up into my body......BUT.....thee is still pleasure in rubbing it and soooo I keep on rubbing and masturbating it.......and.......over the last 5-10 years my penis has indeed shrunk in size.........When I was younger, I'm sure it was about 4 1/2 inches long.......Today, it is only about 3 inches erect and less than 1 inch soft......and.....I rarely get an erection......

Erection for far too long (together with other medical conditions) may end up causing varicocele, which is the same as a varicose vein but in the scrotum.
