These are some truly great videos. Thank you for the time and effort you have all taken to share them with us.
There are quite a few clips that come in multiple parts with the extension "MP4". Is there a way that you can join them like with the product hjsplit? Being a novice user I am at a loss.

That's a pity. I downloaded the whole movie, unfortunately I'm in Belgium so my upload speed is terribly low (one-tenth of my download speed). All of the internet providers limit upload speed in this country because they don't want people to run servers from their homes.

Use media player classic to save the screencaps.
Once the video is open, go to file->save thumbnails
There you can choose where to save the file and various other options, such as how many images you want etc.
