If you like it, rate it and comment on it

I wish to voice a concern. This site has a wonderful variety of stories. There's something here for almost everyone's interpretation of the cuckold fantasy.

When you find stories you like, comment on them or at least rate them. In one week my newest story has been looked at 4200 times and rated four times. Blockers story has been viewed 12000 times and has only been rated twice. What's up with that!

Brainbox1's story has 30 rating points, but that's 10 people giving it a 3. Brainbox has worked hard on his story. Give it a little recognition. Those are just two examples. Look at the ratings. None of the stories are receiving very many ratings.

This site has a host of good writers right now. You may not like every writer. I certainly don't. I don't particularly care for cucked by a teenager stories, nonconsent stories and haveged wife stories; but so what? Other people do and they should encourage those writers to create more stories. I also understand that many readers think my stories are much too namby pamby. Hell sometimes I even think that.

My point is, when you find a story you like, rate it. Rate it a three and then comment on it. Let the guy who's working his ass off writing it know that you like his story, Lick buddy frequently comments on my stories and usually all he does is put in one of the moving happy face pictures. That's great, I love it. It tells me I'm on the right track. I'm creating a story that someone else is enjoying.

If you don't like a story, my suggestion is ignore the one you didn't like and move on to one you do like and rate that one. After posting my stories here, I post them at Literotica.com. Literotica has a 1 to 5 rating system. They also have readers with a much broader range of interest. I can't tell you how many times I have received emails that said something like: I loved your story, it had a great plot and it was well written; but it's about cuckolds and I hate cuckold stories so I rated it a one. Sadly I also get emails from people who write: I love your cuckold stories. I try to answer my emails. Sometimes I ask, did you rate it? I often get the answer, I forgot. If you want more stories that appeal to your tastes, comment on them and rate them a 3. That encourages the writer to create more.

This also goes for all the other threads; the captioned pics, cuckold cartoons, hot wife pics and everything else that makes this site so much fun.

I do understand that several years ago the requirements for becoming a member of this site became more stringent. I don't fault the site owners for trying to make money; but that means there are readers who can neither rate nor comment. To those people I say, just keep reading. Your interest is still reflected in the number of times the story is viewed.

As always GH a good letter to the people here on this site. I myself have posted stories I have written and no comments or rates and it is sort of discouraging for the people like me who are stryggling writers to keep going. I haven't posted any new ones in awhile but hopefully soon I will. And GH I do enjoy yours and Stormys writtings. So keep up the good work,,,,,, nuff said

You are right! I will probably not become a writer and I think most should be thankful for that fact. I do enjoy the stories and understand the amount of effort that goes into writing. I greatly appreciate your efforts along with the others that post. I am a member solely in support of those that write.

Glad you are writing, and I will work harder at rating the stories here and other sites. With some of the public comments I have seen at Literotica, I can't imagine what the emails must be like for cuckold stories.

You bring up a very good point, I do try when I see something I like to put in a good word for the author, many may never had tried to write a story and it not easy work. When I tried, it seemed like all I got was those English Majors who were more concerned with the grammar that the topic of the story.

Thanks for bring this thread up, maybe we might see a bit more of the members letting the authors know their work is appreciated
