Well, I'm back in and I'll wear it for 5 or 6 hours. I'm getting used to it. The lock doesn't hold, but it will keep everything in place until I go to the hardware store. I tried peeing standing up and it was messy. Looks like I'll be sitting from now on.

I really cannot say why. I started with a CB2000 years ago and had some scrotum pain after wearing it for a day or so and midnights were killer. Next I got a CB6000 and the CB6000s tube from one of the cheaper places on eBay and the "I" shaped (cross section) rings just caused the skin to go into the grove on both sides of the ring and it left swollen sores and hurt a lot. I found this metal model on eBay, I posted the item number before, here it is again 251485994321 . I think it was only about $40 so I figured I would try it.

It is a hinged ring that has a rubber tube covering the hinge and the way the cage attaches makes the difference I think. But I started wearing it and never really had any of the scrotum pain, the CB6000s was like it was on fire. I use a drop or two of silicone on the rubber tube over the hinge. Kept it on for 7 days in a row. Now midnight hard ons did get uncomfortable the first few nights but I got up and took a piss and it went down and I went right back to *****. I hardly even wake up anymore.

I just wish that I did not get the one with the urethra stretcher as I will never use it and on the end there is a threaded fitting that it would screw into. I was more concerned with cage length as I am very small maybe 5" at best on a best day in my youth, but all in all I love it and the wife is really happy.

You almost cannot go wrong for $40. My wife also likes the open cage and loves to dig her nails into it when I get hard and the skin bulges out around the wires. Easy to keep clean too. There has been many time I have showered in it and just towel dried and didn't have any problems with rash, chaffing or dampness issues.
