The plastic is not detectable unless a metal lock is involved in a metal detector. The plastic is 100% detectable in the X-ray machine. I have worn both through and each time requires more than a pat down...back room, drop trow, visual inspection.

Yes I have done it wearing a looker 2 chastity device a few times. I posted the whole story in another forum the first time I did it....i can post it here if you wish.

In short its not really a problem. Its best to tell the security people BEFORE you go through that your wearing some body jewelry that can not be removed that WILL set off their alarms.

Only once have I had to go to another room and fill in forms and ended up showing them...all the other times I just explain what it is, they wand me....and send me on my way. Sometimes I get a peel of laughter...but that usually because I present it in a humorous way, not humiliating, and none of them have ever been disrespectful.

I travel almost every week and have for nearly 15 years. I am not asked to remove it about 90% of the time.

Exactly. It's routine and usually don't have to go do anything other than a wand. But sometimes it requires about 30 addl mins because I have to go to a permisteral room or area. Most don't care but a few are surprised and ask questions (like, does it hurt?).
