Metal chastity devices - metal allergies?

I love chain and metal as the image of hard steel against soft warm flesh presses the right buttons for me. I have experienced metal allergies when using a metal crotch chain with a female submissive. Not nice in that sensitive area (it was a chrome plated dog chain.) So my question, has anyone experienced any problem with the metal chastity cages. The jailbird is only one type. I don't need the down and dirty details, just if anyone has seen this problem.

yes i had the same issue with my chastity belt. the metal in the cb3000 hing. had to put tape over it to stop connet with my skin.

no problems from mine.
