I had the -2000 and thought that the -3000 would be more comfortable, but it really wasn't. I had trouble with longer-term(more than a week or so) with the -2000 so that is why I bought the tube for the -3000.
I did get the extra ring for the -3000, the KSD-G2, and that certainly helped with security. The -3000 was not any less comfortable than the -2000, but much more difficult to keep clean. The -2000 with it's more open design is much easier to maintain and it obviates the need for removal to clean it out.
The -2000 also allows you, with some practice, to use a urinal as you can "steer" your cockhead with your fingertips. I found this impossible with the -3000.
I am also pretty small, and even though I should have been long enough to fill out the tube of the -3000, many times it seemed that my cockhead would hang up at the beginning of the curve of the tube and it looked pretty empty and pathetic.
For some reamister, after my experimentation with the -3000, I went back to the -2000 and it has been pretty flawless in comfort and fit. I have been in for up to 3-weeks and have had no problems at all. I could have been in longer, but for better or worse, my wife/keyholder is not THAT mean and diligent about locking me up.
