I've been a member for years, especially enjoying the caption artists. I've grown to respect and admire some of them. So based PURELY on my own tastes and opinions, I thought I would share my list of the top 30 caption artists on Cuckold Place. I love Norwegian's "Simple and Classic Caps" thread, and this is along those lines. Make up your own list if you want, or pick mine apart. Regardless, congratulations for all who made my TOP TWENTY FIVE CAPTION ARTISTS LIST. Thanks for all the work you do and entertainment you provide! Jump in and create your own list!

Some changes and adjustments. I am making it harder to get into the 10 star category. Nothing permisteral against the artists. 10 and 11 are prestigious and that means I need to be a little more critical. More will enter or re-enter in time. The 8 Star Category was entirely too big. Some reverted to 7 Stars and a few moved to 9 Stars. The 6 Star Category was split into 5/6 Stars

A Key:

11 Stars = The Best of the Best, almost all are brilliant. Highly original. Incomparable work. Towers above all but the 10's. Still looks down on them.
10 Stars = Extraordinary, Original, High Brilliance
9 Stars = Very Very Good, consistent, many brilliant
8 Stars = Good, occasionally brilliant
7 Stars = Above Average, some gems
6 Stars = Worth a Two Looks

Don Jetman (Wives in Heat) Elegant pictures and presentation, impeccable prose, super erotic and consistently – almost unbelievably HOT. Has never produced a mediocre caption. All – and I mean all – are stunning.
Timmy27 The workingman’s caption artist, Timmy goes to work each day and produced stellar art in 4 or 5 different threads – all of it superb. Even without his trademark logo, everyone knows a “Timmy.” He still finds time to provide encouragement to other artists.
Christine\bpop (Christine’s Caption Repair Shop) – Like Don Jetman, elegant but more spare in presentation. Christine’s work reeks of intelligence and understated, smoldering and sometimes humorous beauty. Equally adept at transgendered as well as traditional cuckold themes
Zinc03 (Final Step) Monumental. Shorter prose style, hot images, Zinc leaves much to the viewers imagination. Extremely intelligent with various themes. Produces highly addictive captions.
Jane Fressia (A Few Talkies) Classy, literate, unusual and very artistic. Jane uses beautiful facial images and usually employs a longer prose style to create atmospherics uniquely her own. Innovative use of gifs (moving images) within her captions.
Norwegian – Super talented and great graphic art techniques blended with gorgeous images. Norwegian’s work is instantly identifiable as his own. Major, major talent.
Brettrob (My First Caps Ever!) Like Christine, Brettrob is spare with the prose, chooses elegant, sexy images and shot thru the heart messaging to create gem after gem.
Heavenlymr (Art of Desire) He may be retired, but it would appear Heavenlymr launched the trend that transformed captioned pictures to captioned art. Amazing, beautiful images, short messages, presented in an arresting and innovative way through the use of message spacing, fonts and sizes.

Repair shop is GREAT! You will love it. Very few are as talented as Christine. Those who are closest are all in the top 10 of my list. Still, I rate those first three as above the rest, but all in the top 10 are great IMHO. Top 20 is pretty awesome too.

Thanks, Kenneth. All I can say is that it's become rather an obsession. I love making them, and will continue as long as I find pictures that inspire me and fresh ideas (with L's help). No pressure now, right?

In all honesty, after the first 10 it became difficult and kind of arbitrary. I wasn't going to number them. In fact, I was going to stop at 10! Then I said, but I like this one and this one and that one - soon I was at 20. THen I remembered someone else and - jeez, I almost scrapped the whole thing. I had a list of 25 and I was going to stop there. Then I thought of another one. Now it's 26. I really didn't feel strongly about #'s 27-30, but I thought 30 is a nice round number AND 27 and 28 are really hot when I'm in the mood. I am not much of a fan of 29 and I don't like #30 but they were or are very popular, just not with me. Like I said, everyone is different. All of the artists here are wonderful and I could never do what any of them do, and this is meant to recognize their talents, not to belittle any of the ones who are on or off the list. Wow, that was a mouthful!

Don, the honor is mine. You are absolutely amazing. I think the choice of you as number one is the least controversial thing about this list! I miss norwegian too! Feel terrible he left.

Well, these lists are fluid things. I found a few artists I overlooked, and I confused the author of the Pregnant caps I like. Wimphub is the author I was looking for. Added cuckalisiousr and KenSingtonSC. Thanks to you all for your work, it is all delicious!

UPDATE: Added wimphub & malichickiwick. Moved some things around upon reflection and second looks.Lot's of ties, there areprobably 35 or 36 on the list now. It still ends at #30! Post your lists!

This is great. Unlike the artists here, all I have to do is type words and edit! It's an easy job being a critic. Changed more. Moved Greg M up. What was I thinking? And added Cuck Johnnie. There is some great old stuff here! No ties after the top 25, so the list now goes beyond 30.

Well, goodnight all. I was worried about posting the list. Didn't want to hurt feelings, etc. Then I remembered: Most of these people are cuckolds! They should be used to criticism! Well, I've been on both sides of the equation to one degree or another, so I understand. Some of you guys would do way better if you just used spell check. Others, how about making the text large enough and\or dark enough to see? (Or small enough to see the pic)?

. I remember the story about the renowned art critic who lavished praise on a piece of work that hung in a New York art gallery for weeks.
"Modern art" he said "Can and must be viewed with an eye trying to interpret what the artist saw and felt at its time of conception"
He went on to say the artist ( who was anon ) must have been angry at the moment he conceived his masterpiece. The brush strokes, the boldness of colour........ It's very being hinted at everything associated with turmoil.

The fact that the painting had been painted by a chimpanzee as a joke by students from the local university caused uproar of course. They were trying to point out that art critics were painters with a comment to make because they could not paint themselves.

What does it matter. Everybody has a view. What's nice to one permister probably isn't to another.
Someone else's list will probably be different to another's.

I wonder if I am saying this because I am NOT on the list.
