L never wants to talk about sex during the day, especially just after she's been with someone else. Thanks Don, that was VERY hot to read. I like the contrast of proper during the daytime and very sexual at other times. I like the waiting and drawing it out aspect. Not that I'd enjoy that in my own life, but it's exciting to read about it happening to someone else.

One of the things that attracts me to that contrast is how turned off I am by the opposite of it. I've known plenty of women who talk a great game, but then it turns out that their idea of kinky is just to bring a feather to bed for a couple of minutes, before engaging in very boring, straight, vanilla sex. I much prefer the opposite -- the women (and men) who don't talk so much, but are really seriously kinky and willing to take that as far as they can go with it.

I also like knowing that it's happening for someone else right now. My GF has been in that "in-between" space for a couple of years. She was dating for a while, after we started living together, and then stopped for a variety of reamisters. She knows how much I would like her to start dating again. I know that dilemma all too well. At times life has an insidious way of interfering with one's sex life. I can feel it approaching near the end of the year as our work projects are rushed to closure, the stress of holiday planning is already upon us, and the weather hints at becoming inhospitable. Maybe it's just a matter of time and opportunity for your GF. The urge to do another guy seems to build in L over a long period of time, and finding the right guy is usually what breaks the wait. I think L still feels a little guilty afterwards, that she gets to play and I don't, even after so many years of doing it. I have to show her how much I love her as a hotwife every day. Even then...

Don, I especially enjoyed reading what it is that works for you in that cap, knowing that it's a permisteral memory that's triggered in you. As in the thread about how to create a cap, there are some times when it evokes a memory, and those can be very powerfully exciting.

I have hopes that my GF may find the right guy. Sometimes she is very opinionated about what she likes, and she surprised me last night by suggesting a restaurant that she has poo-poo'd in the past. So things can change. Also, she is losing weight slowly but surely, and her weight has been an issue for her in the past. When she doesn't feel attractive, it turns off her desires, of course.

More about her finding the right guy... Back when she was dating, she at first said that she could never bring a guy back to our house, that she just couldn't do it. But then she started trading messages with one guy who *really* turned her on. She said that she was reconsidering that, and asked how I felt. Would I be okay if she brought him here? (She hadn't met him yet at that point. And of course I said it was okay.) Later on, she did meet him. They didn't relax together anywhere at any time, that's a whole separate topic. But the point is that the way she felt about him, the attraction toward him, those caused her to reconsider it. So yes, meeting "the right guy" can make all the difference.

Don, a suggestion that I have for you would be to consider defining your marriage with L as being an open one in both ways. I don't think my GF would accept a one-way open relationship--she says that for her, when I am with someone else, she likes that it is a reminder that she can see other people also. Perhaps that's a way to address the guilt that L seems to have. Of course, that doesn't mean that you actually have to relax with other people, just that it would be "okay" for you to do it.
