Well, this is attempt number #2...bare with me while I get this the way I like it...then I will move on to other images and caps. I am using picasa the google software which I think is a untraditional approach to doing this...but in my mind possibly quicker and easier than the traditional approach...but it does seem the experts rip these out...I am no expert. |

attempt number #3...blowing the image up almost all it can take...any more and it breaks down...oh by the way...I am having to use photoshop to blow it up...I have not found that function in the google software. |

Ok trying to move on I wound up revising my method back to paintshop pro only...and I still didn't get quite what I wanted. |

This image being black background at the bottom I wanted to just expand the imange with a box at the bottom where the text would go. But alas I could not get either software to do that...i know paintshop pro can do it I just couldn't find it...poking around.
So it goes.

I add a white strip to the foot of my captions and place the text in there. It means that it's always readable whatever the background colour of the photo.

Ok based on input from sub_bob which is a more direct explaination of how to do what joblacker is saying I came up with this. I like it on the computer...if I like it online we can move on to batches of 4 or more to make interesting for the reader. |

I like it...might try and change the text font to something filled in...the framed txt looks funky to me...but definately functiona...the google software is leaving my box...long live photoshop.

ok that is what i have with these two...next time different people...yea a littlie sloppy on learn_boy.jpg. but at least it should be workable.
