Gradually over 6 months my sex drive and erectile ability faded to the point where my penis stays totally limp and my sex drive is gone. It might be a bit extreme to consider it as a chemical castration have. However, it is well documented that in some cases, Proscar (also known as Propecia) can have some side effects along those lines. Have you had any other side effects, perhaps gynecomastia? Yes, I noticed it in a picture of me at first. Looks like small boobs and my nipples realy poke out thru my t shirt now. My wife laughed and said she noticed it. She says I definitely have little boobs coming on.
I've read some guys have erection problems on Propecia, and that is one tenth the dosage of Proscar!

She says guys normally get partially erect, when they have to urinate. Now I have to pull back the excess skin and deliberately point it, so I don't pee all over. She says over time, the total lack of erections even at night, will cause it to lose elasticity with a loss of over length and thickness.
It's weird, but a year ago that would have really freaked me out hearing that, but now it does not seem to be a big deal, since I don't get aroused or even jerk off.

Speaking about the boobs thing... One of the first things to happen to young girls in puberty (having had one as a step-flower) is that they get nipples and just the start of boobs first. Thanks for the support, this is a confusing time for me. Looking down at my shriveled penis when I go to the bathroom, it's amazing that we have gone this far.
