this is my opinion... I guess somewhere deep down as a cuckold / cuckold wannabe, we identify ourselves as a beta male, the second best, and through the love and sheer will to please our wives / GFs we feel they should be with an alpha male, a type of real man they deserve and are entitled to; its the natural order, the survival of the fittest, the weaker males will get killed off (by the alpha in most cases) or rejected by the female... so the beta males die out, and only the most superior males reproduce.
i think a cuckold exit is the perfect way for the wife to replace him, and live 'happily ever after' deep down knowing that she is with the better man, perhaps sometimes she may think back and remeber you, what remains of you are fragments of memory, but she will never really regret or miss your presence.
