Butt plugs

My wife has recently bought me a wonderful new butt plug. the plug is stainless steel and has a lovely large purple "diamond" at the base. it looks very sexy when all you can see is the diamond sticking out
my question is however, do many of you have the plugs in for a long time ( while doing the housework, or going to work etc..?) and if so, how the hell do you keep them in all the time, I feel like it is on the edge of possibly popping out at times and it has done that on one occasion when i was vacuming etc..
Are there any "tips or tricks" to keep it in, or is is a matter of training the "muscle" to hold it in, or possibly is it a simple matter of needing to have a larger plug ?

Wear a pair of her panties. If they are tight enough that should keep it in. If your not into that than please excuse my comment.

I find it is hard for them not to pop out after awhile; especially if you are doing housework, etc. You can keep moving up a size each time they pop, but this is a hassle. A better solution is to buy a plug harness. These are like strap-on harnesses, but designed specifically to hold a butt plug or dildo in place. Depending on the harness design and fit, it will either keep the plug tight or at least keep it from exiting your anus completely. In the later case that generally means it slides in and out as you move about - essentially giving yourself a shallow fucking.

Thanx for the replies! Yes i have seen the harnesses and thought of them as a possibility.
Wearing panties doesnt help at all however ( but its nice to wear ;)
Yes i could go up a plug size, but that is going to get expensive real soon if i have to get new ones all the time.
As i said before, The one i have now is a lovely stainless steel one with a " large "diamond"/ jewel on the base
But at $150 a plug will have to last a while!
