Awkward Situation

I just started a new job this week (Yah!) and within a day found out that my new boss is fucking my wife and apparently has been for about 2 years now. No big deal for me but I can tell that he is uncomfortable which is making me uncomfortable.

Yesterday she called him, while he and I were having a conversation. I could tell that he was significantly concerned when the caller ID on his cell popped up and it was my wife. He answered and talked to her a minute and apparently I came up because he told her that I was standing right there. Then he handed me his phone to talk to her. She asked if I was OK with him knowing that I knew and I said that I was and after a few more moments I passed the phone back to him.

After he hung up there was an awkward moment but I broke it and told him that "It's is cool." He looked unsure but I smiled and told him that while I had not known that it was him until just that moment that I was fine with it and nothing should change now that I know. He admitted he was a bit surprised at my candor. I told him that I love my wife and want what makes her happy and since that makes her happy then I can not and will not stand in her way.

Not sure where this will go from here. He is married and has been meeting her after work and on lunch breaks. His wife is GORGEOUS but apparently doesn't put out.
