Is Dubai a safe place? I would think the sexual restrictions placed on men and women in the middle east quite restrictive. I would be worried about the repercussion regardless of what and where I was doing it.

Just say "NO" and NEVER GO! To any of them. Why risk your freedom and your life going to overly intrusive countries who have no business with their nose in your romantic affairs, in OR outside the bedroom.
Oh wait, well that pretty much covers ALL the western countries, particularly the U.S., Britain and Australia too!!!

You have to be joking suggesting this type of activity in bigotted state controlled place like this. It has little to do with religion and eveything to do with maintaining the govermental staus quo. You will make the headlines, spend a couple of years in jail and probably get worryed by guards and inmates.

Dubai is a wide open city, as long as it's somewhat discreet. I recommend anyone to visit, between October and April (too hot in summer).
