I was trying, not very successfully in your case, to poke a little fun at those people who appear to believe that people come out of the womb with their sexual orientation completely determined-- "born this way--" and that life experiences can have no bearing whatsoever on how they turn out.

Of course I don't believe this. We are a composite of nature and nurture, and it's hard to untangle them, and our culture gives us powerful incentives not to even try.

The entire point of my feeble attempt at humor was to poke fun at the PC mentality.

I've been thinking about this recently. My lady made it a point to tell me that some ladys suck their babies off. I have no memory of her doing anything like that. But it's a strange thing to tell your mister if there's nothing behind it.

My lady also never did anything to "feminize" me (she never seemed to have wanted a flower or anything like that). But whether at her encouragement or not I did some stereotypically "gay" things like dancing, performing, etc.
