off on holiday soon

and wifey wants to keep me in my cb3000, as i'm not due out till 1st of Jan.
If she changes the lock for a plastic one will the x ray machine pick it up ?
She doesn't really want to let me out, but i'm worried it may get picked up and cause delay.

she decided to test the water, by making me take off my cb in the check in toilets area, and put it in the hand luggage.
All went fine the bag went through x ray no problem, there was no x ray body scanner, just the walk through metal detector, and no body search if you came through without setting it off.
I was locked up again as soon as we reached our hotel for the duration of the holiday.
The journey back, she made me keep my cb on, and just changed the brass lock for one of the plastic one's, i was very apprehensive, but the same routine at the airport as on leaving here.
Apprehensive, but very exciting !
So my next release is 1st of Jan...Happy new year !
