why won't my story post?

I try to post a story and it doesn't appear to show up. I get no error message, and I turned off my firewall. Yet it still does not appear in the story section.

I simply have been hitting post topic button. Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there a delay before it accepts new topics or something?

1) the story can be too big - pls try to post it in 2 or more part
2) if you copy - paste from somewhere - it can be troubles with ""quotes" - try to post without them
