2257 Compliance Law has changed!

I hope this post doesn't start the hysteria on here again where everyone was taking down their pics and porn.

Why would it? the law was changed to remove the secondary producer requirement so ... why worry?

Because people are idiots who jump to conclusions and are basically paranoid of the law.

Took months for the last round of hysteria to die down.

I remember that, it was awful, we lost a lot of good captioneers and their pictures... some that I still can't find (stupid me didn't save some of them)

I wouldn't get too excited about it all, I'm not sure that's what happenend exactly. Here's what I know (being a producer of amateur porn). A couple of years ago, our top lawyer (yes I said lawyer, so you know we're fucked right off the bat), AG Gonzales, spearheaded 2257 under the "guise" of protecting youngren (making it retro active to `95), with a wink and a nudge, they not only "saved" the youngren (although I really still don't see how it helped their plight), but they immediately cut off the influx of new porn stars from the eastern block countries (green cards are not accepted as ID), while simultaneously stunting the growth of amateur porn. Big porn producers like Vivid and others had their lawyers on it from the get go (as did many of the distributors of my videos). They managed to tie it up for awhile, then it passed. Recently the bastard Gonzales figured if it worked once, why not try it again, afterall, most Supreme Court judge's lives don't revolve around porn, so it was worth a shot. So he tried the same thing in an attempt to control all the amateur stuff being posted on "YouTube" and other similar sites more porn inclined. That's the one that got struck down, not the original 2257. If I wasn't afraid of getting arrested, I'd say Gonzo should be dragged into the streets and beaten with farm impliments till he was a stain,,,but I am afraid of getting arrested so I'm NOT saying that.

But with a valid green card, you could get a driver's license or state I.D. from the DMV and that would be acceptable. Or they could use their passport as a valid I.D.
