Again, thanx for all the well wishes, they couldn't fix him, so they did the next best thing and are managing the pain, it was all going well till a CT scan discovered a spot on his lower left lung, it's been diagnosed as a malignant neoplasm tumor approximately 2.1 cm (a little less than an inch in diameter),,,they're gonna cut it out, we'll find out on Friday when the operation will be scheduled for, keep your fingers crossed. Now, on with the show,,,forgive me for not including a commentary, kinda hard to switch my mind into that mode right now,,,

I've been holding off till it's all definite, but hub had his surgery on St. Patrick's Day, spent five days in the hospital. His doctor is very confident he got the whole tumor, to where he was able to retain more lung than he originally thought (80%),,,now we're just waiting to hear from the lab that it didn't make it to the lymph nodes,,,we'll get those results on Tuesday when he goes in to get the stitches removed, 🤞

Good news, the tumor was the size of a golfball, and the doc says he took that much again tissue around it just to make sure, lab results came back and all his lymph nodes show negative,,,doc wants to see him in two weeks, and then every six months, so now it's just a matter of him recuperating from the surgery. Hopefully (now that he's stopped smoking), as his lungs begin to clear up, his breathing might even be better than it was before he lost that section of lung.

Hi guys'd,,,sorry I haven't posted for a bit, he's been merrily working away on his pix, I just haven't had time (what with two jobs and home making), to sit down with him and work on the captions. He's doing good, about as anybody is expected who had 20% of his lung removed,,,his range of breathing is limited, but south of the border he's the same old horn dog, so I get to ride hide him still, LOL.
