lynnblack, What a complete load of crap. Dude, take your imaginary fantasy and a big black dildo and go fuck yourself. How fucking stupid. These millionaire sons of bitches are disrespecting all of the men and women that serve and who have given their lives for the U. S. I realize that there are many folks from around the world on this site, but I'm proudly from the USA, and that is my opinion.

Disagree.
They are expressing their right, one of the ingrained basic rights of all Americans (10 in the bill of rights), to the freedom of speech. And its nothing to do with the military folks and disrespecting them at all. Many pop stars, film stars etc use their fame to do exactly the same but no one castigates them!
Incidentally there is nothing different about any of you expressing your thoughts and ideas via this site and the player on the field, both of which I defend as a basic right. You may not agree with them or me, but it is precisely that right to disagree and voice that disagreement that generations of Americans have fought for over the centuries for you to have. Its about time people stopped being Rep or Dem and focused on what it means to be an American.
They feel they have a cause and they choose to express it in that public forum...that's good enough for the law of the land and is certainly good enough for me.

pops, you went straight to the heart of the matter - exactly right. Irrespective of whether you agree or disagree with what they're doing, the fact remains that a basic right is available to them to make a protest. Many people all over the world are denied that basic human right, the right to choose, the right to disagree, the right to (peacefully) protest. The alternative is unthinkable, do we want to mirror North Korea for example? The State makes all our decisions for us? No thank you.

They have a right to kneel, because of the men they are disrespecting. I have a right not to watch anymore, and I'm exercising it.

Perhaps I'm living in a different America to you?
But at no point have they (the players) said they are doing this to insult anyone who has served in the military. EVERYONE lives under the same flag, the flag is not reserved to ONLY represent the military, When we pledge allegiance to the flag, we do so not in respect to the armed f orces, or a piece of cloth, but to a concept and belief that all men/women are created equal and that we all have the same inalienable rights. We can never and should never withdraw from society just because one man or woman exercises that inalienable right and "we" do not agree with that. Democracy requires that we respect one another and stay engaged and actually take steps to protect that man's right, under the constitution, to do what they feel is right, otherwise the alternative is anarchy!
They are doing this to draw attention to the fact that still in America today the black man is not equal and is still oppressed, flying in the face of "all men are created equal". They are doing what America stands for...standing up for the little guy who has no visibility, no credibility, no voice and no worth...in 2017 America!
I think they are hero's for doing that, and are setting an example for us all to follow. This is a thinking man's issue, that needs to considered carefully and not just given a knee jerk reaction. Alas however "thinking" is a dying skill in America today.
But you are, alas, correct in one aspect of your brief comment...we all have the right to cut off our noses to spite our faces.
For the record I'm white and middle aged, but I'm no man's or doctrines slave.

Everyone has specific rights laid out for them,, and certain expectations,,,like when I buy a car I expect it to run, when I pay for premium channels I expect non commercial programming (you wouldn't believe how many time I got an entire month off my bill because ShoTime chose to advertise at the bottom of my screen during a movie I was watching). And when I watch a sport, I expect to be able to do so without political strife and angst over things that don't concern that sport. The NFL not only realize this, but have written rules about it, with specific guidelines and punishments for violating those rules. Not unlike that POS Obama, Goodell has decided to pick and choose which of those rules he would enforce,,,so regardless of how many pounds of air is in that pigskin, Goodell can shove it up his ass. I go half the year without football and I'm still alive,,,let's see if he can say the same by the end of the season,,,besides, I've still got boxing and NASCAR!!!

Multi_Orgasmic Mary: Goodell can shove it up his ass. MO Mary..... First of all, it's good to see you're still onsite. Most flag waving American's, and particularly, US veterans who have put their lives on the line, do get pissed off when some jackass uses the flag and all it represents as their personal form of protest. I for one will not attend anymore NFL games until they uphold there code of honor. C41 Cuck who loves a creampie.

Multi_Orgasmic Mary: Everyone has specific rights laid out for them,, and certain expectations, No ones "expectations" are "laid out for them". "Rights" yes but not your personal expectations. You set your own expectations, white, black, player or spectator. It is those "rights" which are indeed "laid out" that the players are exercising. Free speech does not stop in the arena. Do you understand the constitution and the bill of rights at all? Are you able to comment without verbal a buse of someone you dont agree with? Multi_Orgasmic Mary: that POS Obama, My understanding is this is still the "land of the free" or is it the land of the oppressed, self important elite, the "screw you I'm alright" factions? I guess its OK to use a black man for sexual fantasy and gratification but dont ever let him or her stand up for what they hold dear! God forbid they ever let their human and "inalienable" rights get in the way of your sport enjoyment!!!

Protest by its very nature has to incite, offend, inflame, and stimulate.
Nothing we have today has ever come from passive, unremarkable comment or action.
There was a time when women had no vote, no voice, and no influence. There was a time when workers had no rights, no unions and no voice. These situations, and many more like them, have changed and vastly improved for all of us. How? Because someone protested, fought on the streets, were beaten and called all manner of things because they stood up for what they felt in their hearts was right for them and others like them. As a consequence of their stand, many times a lonely and costly stand we, as a nation, all have the rights and privileges we enjoy today.
So these players that kneel are doing just that. The fact that we are having this e-debate is proof that their actions are having the desired effect. That folks refuse to attend games is exactly what they want, and precisely the outcome that will maximize their objectives.
Its exactly how gains have been achieved in the centuries before us around social injustice issues. We all have a part in this story, the player, the indignant, the naysayers, the proud elite, the offended and the oppressed.
At the end of the day this is a white vs. black thing anyway. That is why Trump got involved, because his whole presidency is based on white (Trump) vs. black (Obama). The white elite vs. the oppressed black. The nation is divided and its spilled over onto the field. Trump see's an advantage to his personal objectives to align himself against this kneeling protest, as he can then spin the story away from the "oppressed black man", to the "offending the flag" story, which it was never and is still not about. But hey that's a fact, and nobody is interested in "facts" only the spin!
The only question is who and what are you in this narative?

Married Dom: I strongly disagree with you That is perfectly fine. That is what living in a democracy is all about. So as you dont agree with me I must assume you will not be reading any of my future posts/threads, as that's what you are doing with the game/ford etc. Folks pay for this site too. To see and hear things about Cuckolding, as you, me and others are engaged in talk of other than cuckolding, does that mean we are practicing the same "right" as the players? Using someone else's paid forum to discuss political issues? Does that now mean everyone has to withdraw from this site and boycott it because of you and me? The fact is we all do it. We discuss sport, politics, etc at work, when its the company/employer that's paying for us to be engaged only in work stuff. We each live a life and use that life. So why cant the players? I said early in this discussion, its a thinking mans/woman topic, and as such you have to think about how the standards we set for some are different than the standards we set for ourselves....its OK for us to do it, but dont do it to me! You dont leave the country and live somewhere else because your political party didn't win the election do you? Think about it. pops

Give me a break. The right to free speech doesn't protect you from facing consequences from your employer for saying things (on company time) which may harm their bottom line. These guys are free to protest, but that doesn't mean that their employers can't fire them. Whether you agree with that or not, that's the way it is. The CBS exec who just said that she was happy that the people the Vegas shooter opened fire on were white Trump supporters lost her job. Rightly so. If I were to go to a trade show for the company I work for and make a political statement that might cost them business while wearing their company logo, I'd be fired. Without question. The government couldn't throw me in JAIL or PROSECUTE me for speaking. But my employer CAN fire me for it. Happens all the time. The first amendment and freedom of speech don't protect us from that.

doughman42: These guys are free to protest Thanks. Perfectly true, there is a difference between a "right" and "protection" when it comes to the workplace. You have the "right" to bare arms, but there are consequences for sure if you do so in a work place. When you are employed you agree to a set of operating principals that portray the corporate image the company wishes to project. As have the players. However, there are a million examples of employees striking and picketing there employers work site because of a failure to agree on work conditions and pay etc. You may get what you want but you may also lose your job. So this is another example of where men are putting their career on the line for a cause they value. No one has said anything about them being "protected" from being disciplined for doing so, which can happen. What is in discussion is their "right" under the constitution to do so. Ali went to jail for refusing to serve. He had the right to do so but still, as in all things in life, there were consequences. Both for him and for the boxing spectators. It is in fact the consequences or stakes that give the situation the fire power and legs. If there were no consequences we would not be having this debate. On a closing note. I've said about all I want to say on this matter and will comment no more. We can all watch it unfurl as time passes. We are all Americans, and we all need to find away to coexist and allow us to hold differing view points without getting to the point of name calling and petty verbal a buse or even worse. I thought we had with a thing called democracy, but that very concept is in danger or being lost and elitism taking over. That my friends is the beginning of the end for ALL of us! pops

This is the way I look at it and it comes from a different perspective.
They are performers in a show. That's what football and sports players are. It's a performance. And when you're a performer you do what the producers of that show tell you to do. If they tell you to stand, you stand, if they tell you it's ok to kneel, you kneel. End of discussion.
I've performed in plays and on tv shows and movies, I do what the script and the director tells me to do. If I don't, they find someone else who can.
These football players are affecting profits from the 'show', therefore, they should be fired. They are free to do their protests on their own time. Not during the show that they are paid for to do. Matter of fact, they are taking advantage of the time purchased by the team owners to grandstand their political opinions and beliefs, that's very sleazy. It's as if I stopped a play to tell people to vote for some candidate. It's not my place to do so.
Of course, they have free speech. But not while they're on private property being paid to put on a show.
Have people forgotten that fact? A football game is not a public event put on in a public stadium. It's a privately owned team, people have to buy tickets to attend, broadcasters have to pay for the rights to broadcast, and the stadium is not public.
Simple. It's a private event and the NFL and team owners are in charge just as much as someone is sitting in your living room. There's no such thing as free speech on private property. They can kick you out at any time.

The grand experiment most fail to comprehend, is that the people of the continental united States formed a perfect union and then, form a more perfect union with foreigners via a service agreement known as a constitution.
The people are sovereign in America. Not service organizations however known, that have taken oaths of office to serve faithfully & honorably.
Germane to private property, whether applicable to any domicile or venue in which people pay for services to be performed, such as sports related or otherwise, are not protected areas governed by anyone taking an oath of office. Thereby, any rights to exercise any so called blessing or right, is governed by the private owners thereof. PERIOD!!!
If any venue is used to express a private expression of speech which an owner of any property disagrees with, they have the right to eject any individual that denies them and those the full enjoyment of the domicile or services which they have paid their hard earned wealth to acquire or to enjoy.
The problem in America, is that the nations has been socially engineered via public education system invaded by principles of communism for more than 100yrs by well funded non profits that are used to get elected politicians (not statesmen) that is at the root of both racism and police ********* against all walks of life equally, and, an ignorant populace of the true nature of liberty. Which means you are free to "leave" whenever or wherever you find opportunity to do otherwise, if you find yourself facing unrealistic public expressions unworth of people to dumb to comprehend what rights are for in the first place. Meaning, you have right to choose what is right not what is wrong!
As for ourselves, role playing is a way of exercising a right and recognizing the liberty to exercise that right in its proper place.
Always remember that as a people of the United States "...at the Revolution, the sovereignty devolved on the people; and they are truly the sovereigns of the country, but they are sovereigns without subjects...with none to govern but themselves; the citizens of America are equal as fellow citizens, and as joint tenants in the sovereignty." CHISHOLM v. GEORGIA (US) 2 Dall 419, 454, 1 L Ed 440, 455 @DALL 1793 pp471-472..." "The 6th article of the constitution of the United States declares, that the laws made in pursuance of it, 'shall be the supreme law of the land, anything in the constitution, or laws of any state to the contrary notwithstanding.' By this declaration, the states are prohibited from passing any acts which shall be repugnant to a law of the United States." McCulloch v. Maryland, 17 U. S. 316, 361 (1819)." Bottom-line:
"For the very idea that one man may be compelled to hold his life, or the means of living, or any material right essential to the enjoyment of life, at the mere will of another, seems to be intolerable in any country where freedom prevails, as being the essence of slavery itself." . . ."This principle of interpretation has been sanctioned by this court in Henderson v. Mayor of New York, 92 U. S. 259; Chy Luny v. Freeman, 92 U. S. 275; Ex parte Virginia, 100 U. S. 339; Neal v. Delaware, 103 U.S. 370; and Soon Hing v. Crowley, 113 U. S. 703; S. C. 5 Sup. Ct. Rep. 730." Yick Wo v. Hopkins, Sheriff, etc, 118 U.S. 356, 6 S.Ct. 1064, 30 L.Ed. 220. Why is the above stated, true? "It is obviously correct that no one acquires a vested or protected right in ********* of the Constitution by long use, even when that span of time covers our entire national existence and indeed predates it." Walz v. Tax Commission of New York Justice, 397 U.S. 664 at 678 (1970)... "One's right to life, liberty and property ... And other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no elections." West Virginia Bd. Of Ed. V. Barnett, 319 US 624, 638 (1943)..
As an American National & of course One dedicated to maintaining our precious blessings & rights...., I humbly suggest Americans need to start waking up before you wake up in a communist nation ill prepared to do otherwise, educationally speaking.
To all peaceful & honorable people seeking good will via variation by agreement, willing to exercise their blessings and rights peacefully, our life is dedicated both in the service thereof, and, role playing for the simple pleasures these experiences may offer any mutually agreeable.

Germane to supporting private property & their owners natural rights to defend in accord with their own beliefs, never forget:
"The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the law of Nature, and that there is not a ***** of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence." John Adams, 1735 – 1826.
As for those using a captive audience paying solely to watch the outcome of any game, for which professional athletes are paid millions & millions to perform for both their time & injuries, they should go home and put their energies & money earned back into the communities they believe are suffering for whatever reasons. Rather than, disrespect those who have come to enjoy a relaxing day, watching professional athletes do what they where paid to do!!! WSTA Alumni

I think it's slightly hilarious some people's fun of watching football is crushed because they just witnessed a black athlete express his 1st amendment rights before the game started. Damn, that black guy just expressed his opinion. This whole experience is ruined. It's ruined I tell you!! LOL. How about you just go to the kitchen and shove some nachos and cheese down your pie hole for a couple of minutes while the anthem is playing. You won't even know it happened.
And while were at it, how is kneeling possibly offensive? People kneel and pray before god. People used to kneel before the king to show respect. Kneeling is about the most reverent thing a person can do. Kneeling is about the most passive action of protest a person can do. The US flag represents their right to do exactly that, and any US president that doesn't know that is a moron as Tillerson (US Secretary of State) has attested. They can burn the flag. They can wipe their ass with the flag in protest. That's what makes this country great. And here we have a president trying to f o r c e people to respect the flag. And no one sees that that idiot is burning down the flag and everything this country stands for by injecting division and hate into everything he touches.

That's funny that you feel disrespected when someone else expresses their right to free speech. How self centered. It has nothing to do with you. popeye1 Hi Popeye,,,I see you're a "middle aged white man",,,I feel you when you claim you're defending the right to free speech,,,and looking forward to watching wear a "Make America Great Again" hat at the next BLM gathering (and I use the word loosely). I see you also couldn't help in defending your rights to lash out at me in search of some way to humiliate me, by claiming I feel it's okay to use black men for my pleasure. It may appear to our readers that "Popeye told her",,,but in reality I know who I am, and I don't have a racist bone in my body,,,I am however a "culturist",,,with little or no respect to PC bullshit, I happen to feel there's a big difference between a black man and a niqqa. The black men I know have legally accepted means of employment, don't wear their pants around their asses, don't hit women or call them degrading names, support their offspring, and just shake their heads when they see members of their race dragging them down regardless of how hard they work to escape the stereo type.
Where were you on the subject of free speech when the NFL told the players they couldn't spike the ball, do a dance in the end zone, when T-Bow took a knee for Christ (I do not believe in organized religion at all, any of them), when the players were told they couldn't wear stickers on their helmets in honor of fallen policemen,,,breast cancer? You can't expect to be taken seriously when you chose to get up on your podium for one form of free speech and ignore a half dozen others.

manray "Kneeling is one of the most reverent things a person can do"?
That statement just might hold some merit,,,if you said it a few years ago when they said T-Bow couldn't take a knee,,,but I'm afraid you're a day late and a dollar short, that ship has already sailed,,,nice try though.
