Years ago, way before my interests were awoke, I read a this true story in a mainstream magazine. It may have been Time, Newsweek, Parade or even Reader’s Digest.

In Chicago during the sixties there was a white couple who had a black friend. They were all young, idealistic and deeply involved in the civil rights movement. They shared many harrowing experiences during those turbulent times. Somewhere along the line, the wife had an affair with this black friend. She got pregnant as a result.

Understandably, the friendship did not make it. The husband was upset. The black friend drifted away into more radical politics and a have addiction.

However, the marriage did survive. They raised the young (a boy) and had several other kids. In appearance, this mister did not exactly match his brothers and sisters. The family always attributed this to their “southern Italian” roots. From my own experience, you want to believe what your parents tell you, whether it be Santy Claus or the Easter Bunny. In any case he was light enough to “pass.”

When the mister became a young man, his man passed away. His mom finally admitted the truth. His dad was not his biological man. They had never known how or when to tell him.

The mister took the news well. It confirmed his suspicions. Those were turbulent times. The circumstances - his biological man’s extreme politics and subsequent addiction may have been fatal. It had been a deception, but done for the sake of love.

The mister’s curiosity and desire led him to seek out his unknown man, whether he was dead or alive.

He eventually found him living in Kentucky (Louisville?). He had cleaned up his life and married (a black woman). She had recently passed from cancer. It was a happy reunion. The man was glad to meet the mister he knew he had but had never known.

Later, his mom spoke with her formar lover by phone, they met in permister and had their own reunion.

It was a poignant true story, full of ups and downs with a happy ending.

Now for my dirty, sick, perverted interest.

Of course, being in a mainstream magazine and the story not really carnal, the whole sexual aspect was not dwelt on. I am left to wonder and make-up my own impure fantasies.

Was this the first black man the young wife had been with? Was she his first white girl? In my fantasy, she is very cute and perky. He is strong, athletic (but not over-built, slender) and certainly very well hung!

How did the husband find out about their affair. Maybe (like sicko me) he secretly got off on his wife having torrid sex with her black lover. Maybe he became a voyeur. Clandestinely following them and observing their trysts.

Later in their marriage, did he reveal this fetish to his wife? Did it in any way fuel their sexuality?

When the former lovers finally met, did they rekindle the flame? I like to think they did - with plenty of hot make-up sex! Their love no longer taboo.

Twas a true story published in a mainstream magazine. Must have read it in the early 80’s. Though the re-title “A Right Civil Affair” is my own. Of course the original account was not erotic at all. Just my own imagination.

The premise works for me. Given talent (and grammatical s*******s) I would create an erotic novel or flick based on the plot line.

Another factual story from the 60’s.

It always intrigued me that Dr. King had an affair with a white woman. Hoover had the proof. The bureau recorded their trysts on reel-to-reel tapes. Wonder if the old boy got his jollies off listening to them.

Understand, I admire Martin Luther King immensely. Don’t mean to detract from his life and legacy. Whatever happened happened. We are all human, even the best of us.

Nor do I find him a particularly erotic figure (geez I’m a straight dude). Though back in the day given his courage, charisma and permisteral charm, many women must have found him attractive. Both black and white.

Concerning the Chicago story, the “hotwife buttons” I mentioned are obvious:

1. a cheating wife

4. the white couple staying together and having the young
5. the reunion, years later, of the two lovers

Familiar themes individually, but all cropping-up in this one plot. Funny, back when I first read it, never thought I would acquire these tastes in erotica.

In a fictional version, I could really elaborate on each.
