You can, but you have to work around it a bit. What you have to do, is at the top of the Internet Explorer window, click Tools, Internet Options, then Delete Files. This will delete all previous images that Explorer has loaded to make it easier to find what you want. Dont worry, it wont delete anything you saved to your hard drive from other sites.
Once you have done this, in the same window, click Settings, then View Files. Once you have done that, reload the picture you want to keep, and look in that Temporary Internet files window for it. It will usually be a long name of gibberish. It will pop up in another explorer window, at that point you can save it to your hard drive wherever you wish.

Just sign into the forum, right click on the pic, then left click on 'open link in new window' and then right click on the pic in the new window to save.
When you just click on the picture with your left mouse button, it opens the picture but when you go to save it, it names it as iPix and will show up blank.
Open the pics in a new window and the problem is solved.
